The number that decides the purchase

Fineness, throughput and power — from the same plant.

One mill, one classifier, three grades. The classifier's cage speed moves the cut point, so the plant is set to a fineness rather than rebuilt for one. This table appears identically in nine separate company documents.

D97 means 97 per cent of the product passes the stated size. Power draw is for the plant, not the mill alone. Energy per tonne is derived from the two columns beside it.

The complete line

Ten machines, physically connected.

Nothing in a micronizer plant works alone. Material is lifted, buffered, disintegrated, ground, classified, returned, collected and discharged — and the air that carries it is drawn through the whole circuit by one blower at the clean end.

Low power, and a number to prove it

78.5 kWh per tonne at 20 microns; 91.6 at 15; 146.6 at 10. Those follow from a power draw of 105–110 kWh per hour against 1,400, 1,200 and 750 kg per hour, and the same table appears in nine separate company documents without a variation.

8micron, finest

Fineness you can set

200 mesh down to 8 micron from the same mill. The classifier's cage speed moves the cut point, so the plant is set to a grade rather than rebuilt for one.

16mm shell plate

Low maintenance by construction

16 mm shell, 40 mm side plate, high-chrome liners, EN8 trunnions and a 150 HP belt drive with no gearbox and no coupling. Fewer parts in the train is fewer things to align.
